Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 15, 2026 · Last Updated: June 15, 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This Policy explains how Hydrate LA handles your personal and health information.
1. Introduction
Hydrate LA (“Hydrate LA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides concierge mobile intravenous (IV) wellness services in the greater Los Angeles area. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal and health information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website and to the services we provide in person.
By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Contact and identifiers — such as your name, email address, telephone number, and service address when you book or inquire.
- Health information — information you provide during the pre-treatment health screening, such as relevant medical history, medications, allergies, and symptoms, which our registered nurse uses to determine whether a service is appropriate and safe for you. This is considered sensitive personal information.
- Appointment and transaction details — the services you select, scheduling information, and records of your visits.
- Payment information — bookings and payments are processed through our scheduling and payment partner, Electrolyte Med, via its third-party booking platform. We do not store full payment-card numbers on our own systems.
- Communications — the contents of messages, emails, texts, or forms you send us.
- Automatically collected information — when you visit our website, we and our service providers may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and similar usage data through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Schedule, provide, and administer our wellness services safely and appropriately;
- Conduct the pre-treatment health screening and determine eligibility for a given service;
- Process bookings and payments and send confirmations, reminders, and receipts;
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
- Operate, maintain, and improve our website and services;
- Comply with legal, regulatory, professional, and safety obligations; and
- With your consent, send you appointment-related or promotional communications.
We use your sensitive health information only as necessary to provide our services to you, to keep you safe, and as otherwise permitted or required by law.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as our online booking and payment platform, scheduling and communication tools, and website hosting and analytics providers, who are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.
- Electrolyte Med (booking & clinical partner). Hydrate LA works in partnership with Electrolyte Med. When you book, your information is processed through Electrolyte Med’s booking and payment platform, and Electrolyte Med’s licensed providers may conduct a telehealth consultation and provide physician medical direction to confirm that a treatment is appropriate for you. Electrolyte Med maintains its own Privacy Policy, which also applies to bookings made through its platform.
- Medical oversight. Our services are administered in person by a licensed registered nurse under physician medical direction. Relevant information may be shared with the supervising or collaborating physician and clinical partner as needed to provide safe, lawful care.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of you, us, or others.
- Business transfers. If Hydrate LA is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
5. Text Messaging (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number, we may send you service-related messages such as appointment confirmations and reminders. Where required, marketing or promotional text messages are sent only if you opt in. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Your consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing any service.
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. You may also contact us using the details below to revoke consent by any reasonable means.
6. Cookies, Analytics & “Do Not Track”
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect site functionality.
Because there is no industry consensus on how to respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, our website does not currently respond to such signals.
7. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), gives you the following rights regarding the personal information we hold about you:
- Right to know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it;
- Right to delete personal information we have collected, subject to legal exceptions (including medical-record retention requirements);
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information;
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — note that we do not sell or share your personal information;
- Right to limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the services you request; and
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at shoshana@hydratela.com or (954) 759-1391. We will verify your request before responding and will respond within the timeframes required by law (generally within 45 days, with the possibility of an extension). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.
8. Your Medical Information & California Law
Health information you share with us is also protected under the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA) and other applicable laws. We will not disclose your medical information without your authorization except as permitted or required by law, and we maintain and dispose of medical information in a manner designed to preserve its confidentiality. Where the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) applies to our services, we handle protected health information consistent with that law as well.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal and health information for as long as needed to provide our services, to comply with our legal, professional, and recordkeeping obligations (including any applicable medical-record retention periods), to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it securely.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services, such as our booking platform and partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
